House Cross Country 2013!

On Monday afternoon the whole school braved the chilly weather and muddy field to take part in this year's House Cross Country competition.

From Reception up to Year 6 children took the opportunity to represent their house and earn points with the hope that they could contribute to their house winning the coveted House Cross Country trophy.

As well as running, Year 6 House Captains, helped by many others, assisted with running the event making it an enjoyable and successful afternoon.

After everyone's fantastic efforts and countless brilliant performances the winners were....

Netball League - A team vs St Nicholas

On Wednesday, the 27^th of February, St.Dominics netball A team played a fiercely contested match against St.Nicholas.

 In the early moments St.Doms were dominant in possession and this eventually payed off when Hannah scored an amazing goal to put us 1-0 ahead. Unfortunately this made the team complacent and St.Nicks caught up with them, making the score 1-1. The first half ended with that close scoreline. Within no time the game was underway and St.Nicks were definitely ready, as they scored in the first few minutes. Thankfully, due to a wonderful set of passes by the centre and wing attack, Brogan( our goal attack ) threw an EPIC shot to equalise. Despite St. Dominics best efforts, they could not pull ahead and the rampant St.Nicholas went on to win 4-2, scoring 2 goals in the last two minutes.
